Devil's Corner was established on Tasmania's east coast in 1999, taking its name from a treacherous bend of the Tamar River in northern Tasmania. Now owned by Brown Brothers, in 2015 its spectacular cellar door overlooking Moulting Lagoon was completed.
With sweeping views to The Hazards range in Freycinet National Park, the maritime location of their Hazards Vineyard moderates the cool climate, while the westward mountains attract rain, ensuring excellent growing conditions and intense flavours in the wines. While the vines are at the whim of the elements in this wild corner of Tasmania, at the same time Devil's Corner embraces the unpredictability to produce their wines.
Devil's Corner key varieties are the regional icons Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. The Hazards range leads. The Resolution range is suited to cellaring, while the core Devil's Corner range is ideal for immediate drinking.
